Job Overview

As an Android Mobile Engineer you will be responsible for development and design of Android mobile applications and components for customer facing products.


  • Design, develop, test, and deliver compelling Android mobile apps for Forever™ Members.
  • Write code that adheres to Forever’s brand and development standards.
  • Implement effective Android mobile user interfaces.
  • Resolve defects and make enhancements.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, company management, and customers.
  • Be the Android mobile applications expert for Forever.

Required Job Skills

  • Desire to build and maintain a world-class Android mobile app.
  • Experience with Java, Android SDK, and common third-party Android libraries.
  • Successful deployment of more than one App in the Google Play store.
  • Successful design and implementation skills across Android phones and tablets.
  • Experience with REST/JSON integration.
  • Comfortable with multi-threaded implementations.
  • Ability to optimize smoothness and performance of Android user interface.
  • Agile software design experience.
  • BS/BA degree desired, but not required.
  • Enthusiastic and eager to continually learn and evolve skill sets.
